New Book “Shooting Movies Without Shooting Yourself in the Foot” Mentions School of Communications

Jack Anderson, a Hollywood professional who has worked with Film/Video students on the Summer Film Project, has written a new book called “Shooting Movies Without Shooting Yourself in the Foot” that mentions the School of Communications several times.

“Jack Anderson is a Hollywood veteran and this book is fun to read if you like the movies, and especially if you are interested in becoming a cinematographer. Jack says you learn from your mistakes and he’s made every mistake. In addition to his Hollywood experience, he served as director of photography on eight GVSU Summer Film Projects and the book is loaded with stories and photos from those productions,” said Professor Philbin.

John Philbin, a professor of Film/Video Production, gives the book a thumbs up!
