GVSU master’s student interviews Donald Trump in Grand Rapids

Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate, made a surprise visit to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum and WZZM 13 News Anchor Jennifer Pascua was able to conduct an exclusive interview.  Pascua is currently working on her master’s degree at GVSU.

Trump was in Michigan for a day of campaigning when he made an appearance on the local news station. Pascua was able to ask him about the recent USA Today editorial board’s decision to call Trump “unfit for the presidency.” The editorial board has never taken sides in the presidential race until now. Pascua also asked him about his social media tweets and what he wants undecided voters to do.

The ABC News affiliate has been broadcasting from its WZZM 13 News Hub during ArtPrize for the past week. ArtPrize is an international art competition decided by a public vote and expert jury that takes place each fall in Grand Rapids, MI.
