Argentinean filmmaker Gustavo Taretto shared his work with School of Communications students and faculty on Monday April 8. Taretto showed two short films and clips from the feature Medianeras (Sidewalls, 2011), to talk about the process for turning his award winning short into a feature length film.
Taretto was in Grand Rapids to participate in the Grand Rapids Latin American Film Festival.
The campus visit, sponsored by the School of Communications and the Latin American Studies program, was attended by approximately 100 students and faculty. Zulema Moret, coordinator of the Latin American Studies program, served as translator.
